Riverpark NYC: Little River Beer Garden

HERE COMES THE SUN

Little River Beer Garden is now open at Riverpark, Tom Colicchio's modern American restaurant overlooking the East River in Kips Bay. Adjacent to Riverpark's expansive patio and 15,000 square-foot urban farm, Little River Beer Garden is a casual, outdoor destination for local & craft beers, wine and food from Riverpark's executive chef Andrew Smith, beverage director Dusan Vranic and pastry chef Geoffry Koo.

CHEERS

A selection of refreshing and easy-to-drink draft beer from Long Island Beer Project is available by the pint or pitcher, along with a menu of wines served by the glass or carafe. A grapefruit wine cooler is also available, as well as buzz-free refreshers such as a cucumber lemonade.

BITES

A raw bar accompanies summer-inspired dishes such as peel & eat shrimp, fish tacos, a lobster roll, fried chicken sandwich and a burger. For dessert, Koo looks to the adjacent farm to inspire simple yet refreshing sweets such as mango-passion fruit granita, strawberries & cream and house-made popsicles.

VIBE

Little River Beer Garden overlooks the East River with picnic-table seating and counter-style service. At night, string lights twinkle overhead to illuminate the beer garden, while trees provide a shady retreat from the daytime summer sun. Later this month, the team will begin offering board & backyard games.
